Portraits FAQ
Can you give us any tips as to what to wear for portrait sessions?
As a matter of fact I have a whole article written on that. Please have a look here. If you still have questions or would like to discuss a particular outfit and session do not hesitate to contact me here. I will be happy to help!
Will we get digital files from our portrait session?
If you want to – of course! A DVD of all digital files from your session is available for purchase. We offer 2 types of DVDs – one with images formatted to print 8×10 or smaller ( a cheaper one), the other one contains all high-resolution images from your portrait session (a more expensive one). Also you will get a low-resolution digital file with every print you order through us.
If you know a DVD of images is what you want, when booking your session go for a DVD package – it will save you at least $100.
How far in advance do we need to book our portrait session?
It depends on the the time of the year and the type of session you want to book. Normally spring through October is the busiest time for photographers, so make sure you contact me as soon as possible to book a session around that time.
Also for bridals and engagements allow at least 8-10 weeks prior to the wedding, especially if you would like to display your pictures at the reception or you are planning on ordering guestbooks.
How long is a portrait session?
It is around 2 hours.
We don’t know which location to pick. Would you help us with that?
I will be happy to help you with that. I have a whole list of locations for you to choose from.
When will we be able to see our pictures?
Your pictures will be uploaded to the online password protected gallery no later than 3 weeks after your portrait session.
When should we pay for our portrait session?
A retainer of 50% is required at the time of booking. It is non-refundable, but transferable. Your portrait session should be paid in full by the date of the session.
